During the trip, we’ll explore the park’s towering sand dunes, shoreline, and wooded areas while practicing creative composition in addition to natural light techniques. Whether you enjoy capturing dramatic dune patterns, peaceful beach scenes, wildlife, or sunset reflections over the lake, there will be plenty of opportunities to create unique images!
This outing is designed to be relaxed and collaborative. Participants are encouraged to share ideas, experiment with different perspectives, and learn from one another along the way. Bring your camera, a few beachy outfits, comfortable walking shoes, and your sense of adventure.
Come connect with fellow creatives, enjoy the outdoors, and capture the natural beauty of Michigan’s dunes together.
You are responsible for getting to and from the destination – please consider carpooling with other members.

On Tuesday, August 11th, step beyond the expected and into a wedding experience designed for creatives who crave something different.
Hosted by Ryder House Design Co. at The Boardwalk Venue in Benton Harbor, MI, Wildflower Haze is a multi-set styled wedding event that explores the intersection of wedding design, native Michigan wildflowers, and elevated cannabis culture. Rather than focusing on trends, this experience highlights cannabis as part of a modern lifestyle and celebration.
Throughout the day, attendees will have access to three distinct sets. As a result, photographers, videographers, and content creators can build a diverse portfolio while exploring multiple wedding aesthetics in a single event.
First, Wildflower Haze offers an immersive styled wedding experience. This set includes a ceremony, guests, reception details, and authentic storytelling moments. In addition, vibrant florals, colorful glassware, and flowing textiles create endless opportunities for dynamic imagery.
Next, Verdant Reverie presents a romantic micro-wedding editorial. Rich botanical textures, elegant tablescapes, and curated details provide a more intimate and design-focused setting. Meanwhile, purple coneflower, Queen Anne’s lace, and subtle cannabis accents bring depth and visual interest to the space.
Finally, Bloom & Veil invites attendees into an intimate bridal boudoir editorial inside The Boardwalk’s unique Bridal Dome. Here, lace, soft fabrics, wildflowers, and cannabis-inspired details come together to create a setting that feels romantic, artistic, and deeply personal.
