Join our MI Studio Space Member Community for a scenic field trip to Warren Dunes State Park near St. Joseph, MI. This beautiful lakeshore destination offers sweeping dune landscapes, forest trails, and stunning views of Lake Michigan—making it a perfect location for photographers of all experience levels.

- A relaxed day to photograph with the backdrops of sprawling dunes, windswept grasses, and Lake Michigan
- Easygoing creative atmosphere
- A chance to connect with fellow creatives
☀️ What To Bring
- Your camera + your favorite lenses
- A beachy outfit (or two) + any props you’d like to include
- Comfortable shoes + sandals
- A towel
- Snacks and drinks (water will be provided)
During the trip, we’ll explore the park’s towering sand dunes, shoreline, and wooded areas while practicing creative composition in addition to natural light techniques. Whether you enjoy capturing dramatic dune patterns, peaceful beach scenes, wildlife, or sunset reflections over the lake, there will be plenty of opportunities to create unique images!
This outing is designed to be relaxed and collaborative. Participants are encouraged to share ideas, experiment with different perspectives, and learn from one another along the way. Bring your camera, a few beachy outfits, comfortable walking shoes, and your sense of adventure.
Come connect with fellow creatives, enjoy the outdoors, and capture the natural beauty of Michigan’s dunes together.
You are responsible for getting to and from the destination – please consider carpooling with other members.
