Overview of the article, summary and give important information about the post that the reader would want to know. This is also going to be critical information that Google picks up for SEO. Make it interesting, with some sort of call to action, whether that’s reading more, becoming a member, joining the next event, or whatever is appropriate.

Start writing your blog post here. Use the headings to make the story ‘scannable’ for readers to get the gist of what you are talking about, without needing to read every word. Use SEO keywords when possible.

Write enough to fill the space next to the photo to the right. You could replace that single photo with a slider or small gallery to show multiples if you want, but I will suggest using one, strong photo there that visually represents the topic in a bold and powerful way, adding galleries and more photos below to keep the reading scrolling and interested.

You can adjust the horizontal sizing of the 2 columns to make them line up better.

The photo gallery above is set to be responsive for the screen size, showing the number of columns and rows that are appropriate for the screen size. On a computer screen, you’ll see 2 rows of 4. On a smaller screen you may see 4 rows of 2. You can change that in the settings for the gallery when you click on it above. I will suggest keeping to an even number of photos if you want it to be responsive, or making sure that it will all line up correctly on different screen sizes if you don’t.

Use this space for a second part of the copy and include some sort of call to action at the end. I have put a button there for you to use if you’d like. But you could add a button row to have 2 calls to action, or remove all of the buttons and just use a link in the text.

Below that is a section for related blog posts, to keep the reader engaged with the business. The are the most recent posts, excluding the current, full post above. It is set to show the blog title and excerpt under the image (if you see no image there, its because there are no blog posts yet). There are some settings to change the way it displays them, and the number that are shown.
