How to Host an Event or Workshop at MI Studio Space
We offer 2 different ways you can use our studio space to host your own private event or professional workshop.
Small Private Event Space Rental
Rent our space for ladies night, bridal or baby showers, graduation parties and more. Our Main Room includes a full kitchen (or you can order catering from the restaurant on the first floor), and pay an hourly rental fee.
Host Professional Workshops & Events
Rent our studio space to do group photo shoots, workshops, seminars, networking nights and other, business-related events. You choose the option that best suits your event, whether that’s selling tickets or paying an hourly rental rate.

Host a Small, Private Event at MI Studio Space
How to book our space for small, private events in Wayland, MI.
MI Studio Space in Wayland, Michigan is a unique space for a bridal or baby shower, graduation party, ladies night, or any small, private event.
Our Main Room can accommodate about 30 people, and is full of unique seating, with couches, chairs, stools and more for your guests, and even has a full kitchen! You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks too. Our large refrigerator, stove and sink are yours to use for the event. (Just please clean them up after you’re done.) If you need some extra space, our XoXo Room can accommodate about 20 people.
If you’re looking for catering, may we suggest the Don Pocho on the first floor of our building? Their food is great and never disappoints!
Because the space is used as a photo studio, you’re sure to be able to get some amazing photos of your event too! Make a note if you wish to add photography to your booking!

Host a Professional Workshop or Event at MI Studio Space
How to book our space for professional workshops or events in Wayland, MI.
MI Studio Space in Wayland, Michigan is a truly unique space to host photography workshops, group shoots, networking events, professional gatherings and more.
Our Main Room can accommodate about 30 people and is full of great seating, with couches, chairs, stools and more for your guests, and even has a full kitchen! The XoXo Boudoir Room is more intimate, accommodating about 20 people, with unique seating and decor.
To start the booking process, please read through the information below and submit an Inquiry Form. Once your event details are approved, you will fill out an Event Host Contract.

Then, fill out the Inquiry Form below to start the conversation. Give us all of the details, and we’ll be in touch to answer questions and get your event locked in.
Finally, you’ll sign a contract and get your event on our schedule.

Event Host Rental & Payment Options
Choose from 3 different options for renting studio space by the hour or selling tickets and splitting profits.
Host Option 1 - No Ticket Sales, Hourly Room Rental
Option 1 – No Ticket Sales, Hourly Room Rental Rates
- Studio Fees: Hosting Members Pay Regular Hourly Rate to Rent and Use The Space
- The Studio Lists Event On website & Collects Registrations (No Ticket Sales)
- Please note, all event offers at the studio MUST register all attendees.
- A studio representative will be available during hosting hours.
- Studio mentions events in email event blasts & socials if requested by the host.
- Studio will not purchase any styling elements, pay people or purchase any items specific for your event. What is available during regular rental is what will be available for your event.
- Please Note, This Options Does not provide any Images or content created by Mina’s Photo or MI Studio Space but rather reworks content to fit emails or social media highlight interactions that the Host Provides.
- In event of potential collaboration, choose this option and request fees to be waived if you feel your event could be beneficial to the growth of the studio and would like it to be a collaboration. This must be approved by Studio Owner, Emina Delic.
Host Option 2 - Ticket Sales with Minimal Collaboration
Option 2 – Ticket sales to attendees; revenue split with Studio
- The Studio Lists Event On Website & Collects Ticket Sales. Studio is responsible for Ticket Sale Transaction Fees. Please note on your inquiry form what your suggested ticket investment for this event should be.
- The Studio hosts events for a specific amount of time & date requested for approval.
- A Studio representative will be available during hosting hours.
- Studio helps create visuals, reels & content for sharing and recruiting attendees. Specifically highlighting events in email & social media posts to the studio’s constituents. Event hosts must provide as much content to keep event information relevant as advertising approaches the event date to create content to promote the event.
- Studio will not purchase any styling elements, pay people or purchase any items specific for your event. What is available during regular rental is what will be available for your event.
- Please note, this option does not provide any images or content created by Mina’s Photo or MI Studio Space but rather reworks content to fit emails or social media highlight interactions that the Host Provides. All content images must be created by the host or have permission from the creator to be utilized. Mood Board of ACTUAL items Only.
Ticket Sales Revenue Split Breakdown
- Studio Fees are %50 of Ticket Sales.
- Host is paid the remaining %50.
- Host must be able to provide a professional invoice to the studio for hosting services. The studio will create an “event breakdown” and calculate the actual amount after the event to be invoiced.
- Please Note, The studio will not provide additional funding for advertising such as social media post boosts or other marketing.
Host Option 3 - Studio Management with Ticket Sales Profit Split
Option 3 – The Studio will manage and promote the event, and split profit with the host.
- This option involves Studio owner, Emina Delic as event co-host, as well as her creative business, Mina’s Photo, LLC. Please list any intended needs from Mina’s Photo for this event.
- Mina’s Photo, LLC Involvement options could include, images or content created by Mina’s Photo for emails or social media highlight interactions or other forms of involvement. All content images must be original & created by the host or have permission from the creator to be utilized. Mood board of ACTUAL items Only.
- The Studio lists event on website & collects ticket sales. Studio is responsible for Ticket Sale Transaction Fees. Please note below what your suggested ticket investment for this event should be.

Ticket Sales Breakdown
- Studio Fees are %50 of Ticket Sales.
- Hosts Payout is Remaining Profit Split between Mina’s Photo LLC & Co-Host.
- Host Payout will be calculated by first taking the Studio %50 fee. Then Pre-approved budget & costs associated with the execution of the event will be calculated & submitted.
- Please Note: PRE-APPROVED and Clearly Noted in the Event Description is REQUIRED in order to be calculated accordingly. The Event Profit will then be paid out equally among event hosts.
- Host Must be able to provide a professional invoice to the studio for hosting services. The studio will create an “event breakdown” and calculate the actual amount after the event to be invoiced.
- Please Note, The studio will not provide additional funding for advertising such as social media post boosts or other marketing.

Model Age Verification & Content
For any events that state Boudoir or any form of nudity or adult content a Photo ID will be required with ticket purchase. Be sure to bring your ID to the event as well.
With a purchase of a ticket you verify that you are at least 18 years of age AND graduated/ are not of High School Grade Age.
A copy of Driver’s License, State ID or other proof of age identification is required.
Sexual and Obscene Conduct
No sexual conduct/ pornographic content shall be photographed or recorded at MI STUIO SPACE. Creators will work within artistic freedom and expression within these sessions/events/workshops. Any content created at MI Studio Space can can be seen as Obscene will not be allowed. However, Owner of MI Studio Space, LLC reserves, in her sole discretion, to determine the definition of pornographic material and will not condone the recording of photograph/ video or such material. Owner is mostly okay with implied material but NEVER a sexual act. Any attempt to force or harass any event goers to photograph scenes despite refusal shall result in the ending of said event without any refund or any final images/ product delivered regardless of the time length of the session to that point or purchased tickets.
752.364 “Sexual conduct” defined.
Sec. 4.
(1) “Sexual conduct” means 1 or more of the following:
(a) Representations or descriptions of ultimate sexual acts, normal or perverted, actual or simulated.
(b) Representations or descriptions of masturbation, excretory functions, or a lewd exhibition of the genitals.
(2) “Simulated” means the explicit depiction or description of any of the types of conduct set forth in the definition of sexual conduct under subsection (1), which creates the appearance of such conduct.
(3) “Ultimate sexual acts” means sexual intercourse, fellatio, cunnilingus, anal intercourse, or any other intrusion, however slight, of any part of a person’s body or of any object into the genital or anal openings of another person’s body, or depictions or descriptions of sexual bestiality, sadomasochism, masturbation, or excretory functions.
752.362 Definitions; C to O.
(5) “Obscene” means any material that meets all of the following criteria:
(a) The average individual, applying contemporary community standards, would find the material, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest.
(b) The reasonable person would find the material, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.
(c) The material depicts or describes sexual conduct in a patently offensive way.
Any attempt to harass, solicit, or compel photographer/model/creative or others attending events sexually shall result in the ending of said session/event/workshop without any refund or any final image/s product delivered regardless of the time length of the session/event/workshop and will be told to leave.
Model understands and agrees that ALL images produced from this session/workshop/event can be shared freely on any platforms by all creators. Photographers/ Studio/ Artists/ Vendors/Content creators or other are not required to share any photos with others, Especially photographers that paid to participate in event/workshop/session. Verbal agreements & studio event offers with be discussed separate from this contract.
Models agree that they will not edit/change or alter files/photos that any photographers share with model. Everyone will follow all laws in regards to intellectual property rights. Be sure to find out intellectual property owner sharing/tagging and distribution preferences before any content is used. All creatives involved in event/workshop/session when intellectual property is used will credit each creative involved per creatives preference. Use aliases when applicable.

Your Role as an Event Host
By signing an Event Host Contract, you’re stepping into a key role at MI Studio Space, LLC. Here’s what you’re agreeing to:
Professional Representation: When you host an event with us, you’re not just a host; you’re a face of MI Studio Space! We expect you to represent our community and values with the utmost professionalism.
Rules and Regulations Compliance: Our space has its own rhythm and rules. By signing this, you agree to abide by all the guidelines and regulations set by MI Studio Space. It’s all about keeping the harmony in our creative sanctuary. For more info Check out Event Terms and Conditions
Commitment to Attendee Satisfaction: You’re the host with the most, and with great power comes great responsibility! We trust you to make necessary accommodations and go that extra mile to ensure every attendee leaves with a smile and a head full of new ideas.
Cancellation Policy
Notice of Changes or Cancellation: Communicate any changes or cancellations as early as possible.
Approval by Owner: Emina Delic, Owner of MI Studio Space, LLC, must exclusively approve any event cancellations or significant changes. This is crucial for effective scheduling and accommodation.
Consequences of Unapproved Changes: In the event of unnecessary cancellation or change not approved by Emina Delic or if parties cannot agree on how to proceed:
- The applying host will be responsible for refunding all ticket purchases to the ticket holders in full.
- Any funds already collected by the studio in relation to the event will be kept by MI Studio Space, LLC.
